Thetford kept Broadland II on the back foot for most of the first half and lead by two goals from open play. Broadland’s defence rallied and with goalkeeper Emma Rowley in fine form started to build numerous attacks from the back.  As Broadland’s midfield of Emma Grosvenor, Abi Dennison and Broadland’s star player Captain Nikki Kent began to influence the game, a well struck effort from Kent was ruled out. Broadland sensing they could get something out of the game bombarded the Thetford goal and with a goal from Nikki Baker the outcome of the game was still in doubt until the final whistle.
