Match Report | Division 1 Broadland II 6 UEA III 1 After a somewhat shaky start Broadland got it together and prompted by some powerful free hits from the impressive Izzie London, Broadland’s star player, took the lead when Kat Maddox pounced on a loose ball in front of the UEA keeper to give them the lead. Dani Parke, playing her second game of the game of the day, fired in Broadland’s second and third goals, both coming after lengthy runs by the midfielder. Tamsin Highfield, put Broadland further ahead converting a pull back by Anna Heinevetter and London got herself on the score sheet just before the break with a powerful strike at a penalty corner. UEA came out in the second period to restore some pride to their game and looked the better team, pulling a goal back through Eloise Crockett. Broadland, coasting to victory, scored their sixth and final goal through Callianne Clark late on. |
