Division 1 Broadland II 3 Norwich Dragons IV The tale of two Nikki’s With both teams in need to win this game for different reasons it was bound to be a tight affair and so it was with Norwich Dragons IV taking the lead with a well worked team goal towards the end of the first half. Broadland started the second half with a goal within the first minute, with captain and star player Nikki Kent firing by the near post. Broadland’s confidence clearly grew and prompted by some powerful through balls from Broadland’s Izzie London, took the lead when Nikki Baker pounced on a Dragon’s defensive error to give her side the lead. With the game being very tight, the next goal would be decisive, and so it was until Broadland’s Nikki Kent picked a loose ball just inside the Norwich Dragon’s half, and with a powerful run and sublime finish claimed all the points for Broadland. |
