Broadland had the major share of possession and in spite of a number of good opportunities could not find the way past the packed Watton defence.  Emma Rowley in the Broadland goal did her best to prevent Watton taking an early second half lead but could do little as Haidee Anscombe forced the ball over the line for their first goal.  Broadland wasted a number of clear opportunities to equalise before Vicky Mitchell doubled Watton’s lead at a late penalty corner.  Broadland’s star player was Lorna Marshall-Sully, a recent recruit through their back to hockey campaign.
