East Men’s Hockey League Division 5 (North East) Dereham IV 2 Norwich Exiles 3 A swift attack from Dereham and an early goal set the scene, with Exiles bombarding the home team’s goal for much of the first half.. A number of good saves, interceptions and rebounds off the posts meant that there was all to play for in the second period for both teams. Exiles equalised through a Alex Waterman strike and it was he who put them ahead minutes later. Dereham’s equalised within minutes with a swift counter attack, but with Robbie Dix, Jon Mobbs and Robbie Whiting controlling the midfield it was only a matter of time that Exiles would find the winner which was fired home by Simon Nesbitt after his initial shot was well saved by the Dereham keeper.
