Match Report | East Men’s Hockey League Division 5 (North East) Norwich Exiles 1 Harleston Magpies V 1 A unfortunate penalty stroke, given against Alex Waterman for use of the hand, was duly converted by the Harleston player. With both sides battling for possession there was only the one goal between them at the break. A more determined Exiles, began to move the ball around crisply and were rewarded with an equaliser from Robbie Whiting after excellent work by Jon Mobbs, who had skilfully worked the ball into the circle. Harleston galvanised into action by this set back bombarded the home team goal and looked set to take all the points when awarded a second penalty stroke, but to Exiles relief, Ken Shaddock in the Exiles goal, did enough to deny the striker. |
