Sudbury gained the upper hand with two good strikes which easily beat Ken Shaddock in the Exiles goal. Exiles however, fought back to even things up with goals from Alex Waterman and Jon Mobbs. A well organised Sudbury stretched the visitor’s, and regained the lead and then went further ahead just before the break. Although there were opportunities for both sides and a disallowed Sudbury attempt, the second half was goal less.
