East Men’s Hockey League Division 5 (North East) Norwich Exiles 2 Felixstowe 0 Alex Waterman gave Norwich Exiles an early lead and had to defend in depth as Felixstowe grew into the game and pressurized the home side defence. Felixstowe started the second half searching for an equaliser and would have succeeded had not Exiles captain and goalkeeper Ken Shaddock deny them with a amazing double save. Felixstowe now attacking with purpose gradually unsettled the Exiles side but were caught out when Will Waterman scored from the tightest of angles to double their lead near the end. |
