Match Report |
Division 1 Dereham IV 3 Broadland II 6 Nikki Baker gave Broadland the lead with a strong finish and doubled their advantage through Abi Dennison. Broadland’s captain Martina Rothe following up, increased Broadland’s lead. Dereham scored twice through Suzanne Thorne to keep them in the game. Any thoughts of a Dereham revival were put on hold within minutes of the restart when a sublime finish from Broadland’s Lotte Stalker flashed into the net. Rothe scored again before Kat Maddox got her stick to a Stalker cross to complete the scoring for the visitors. Dereham pulled two goals back but in spite of dominating the closing minutes could not manage to further break down a stubborn Broadland defence. |
