Broadland III 4 Norwich Dragons VII 1 Leading by two goals at the break from the irrepressible Carolyn Duthie, Broadland now playing with confidence and panache stormed the Dragon’s rearguard, only to see Dragons’ Mia Amiss take the wind out of their sails with a fine finish. Broadland with three debut players all playing their part, Amelia Anema and Becky Thompson in midfield, and the powerful Sharon Weeks in the forward line, goals started to flow again as Duthie used her experience to finish in a clinical fashion by the far post to complete her hat-trick. Anne Harper, Broadland’s star player’s masterful ball out to Weeks and inviting cross from Weeks was slammed home by Duthie for her fourth goal of the game as the home team finished the game with a flurry.
