| Match Report | Division 3 Broadland III 2 UEA IV 0 Broadland started the game with clear intentions, dominating possession and creating, but failing to put easy chances away against league leaders UEA IV A fierce shot from Wendy Anema, however, struck a defender’s foot giving Carolyn Duthie the easy task of steering the ball over the line for the first goal of the game. Buoyed by this it didn’t take too long for Broadland to increase their lead as Amelia Anema pounced on a penalty corner rebound to fire in her first Broadland goal. Although UEA IV mounted a number of spirited attacks, the Broadland defence mopped up everything that was thrown at them. |
