Norwich Exiles took advantage of a poor challenge and good advantage to take a second minute lead when Ian White fired high into the home goal after just two minutes.  North Norfolk moved the ball round to great effect and equalised after some loose play by the Exiles.  During the following ten minutes North Norfolk put some distance between themselves and the visitors firing in three more goals to hold a comfortable lead at the break. North Norfolk scored again midway through the second period but Broadland to their credit never gave up and pulled a goal back through Mark Varley after good work down the right left him with a tap in at the far post.
