Match Report | East Men’s Hockey League Division 5 (North East) Norwich Exiles 2 Bury St Edmunds V 1 A good start by the Exiles came to nought as some untidy defending gave Bury V the opportunity to take the lead. Some great saves from captain Ken Shaddock in the Exiles goal, kept them in the game as Bury pounced on individual home team errors to keep Exiles on the back foot. Exiles started the second half more positively and strung a number of fine moves together one of which resulted in an equaliser from Ian White. Exiles restored to a full team after a couple of temporary short term suspensions rocked Bury with some super team play which ended with a sublime goal from Rob Panter. Unfortunately a number of injuries as a result of reckless challenges put a damper on the result with Exiles having to dig deep next week to field a representative XI. |
