Match Report |
Division 1 Broadland 2 Reepham 0 Reepham made Broadland II work hard for their win over their local rivals and in the first period of the game kept the home side on the back foot, with Emma Piddock in the Broadland goal having to be quick off her line to clear danger. Slowly Broadland began to get a grip on the game and took the lead when Nikki Baker put Broadland ahead with a last gasp touch, after her initial shot refused to roll over the line. Reepham responded well but eventually ran out of steam as Broadland began to dominate and press their defence. Abi Dennison doubled Broadland’s lead with a slick penalty corner finish. Reepham to their credit never gave up and but for some wayward shooting late on may have got back into the game.
