In a fiercely contested top of the table clash, and no score at the break, the game could have gone either way.  Carrow looked likely to take the lead at any moment but Broadland stubbornly defending, survived a barrage of penalty corners with some courageous goalkeeping from Sarah Craig and timely tackles and clearances from their captain Sophie White.  An incisive counter attack from Broadland, led by the speedy Dani Parke saw her shot from the edge of the circle squirming through the Carrow keeper’s pads to give them the lead. Parke was on the score sheet again minutes later, when after being checked by the keeper, she recovered to double her tally.  Carrow clearly stung by this further set back, pressed the Broadland rear guard but were left flat-footed as Parke raced down the pitch to pick out Nikki Baker to tap in Broadland’s final goal.
