Match Report |
Division 1 Beccles 1 Broadland II 2 League leaders Broadland dominated the open exchanges but conceded an early goal to a lively Beccles side. Broadland maintained their composure and created several opportunities one of which fell to Izzie London just before the break. London’s powerful strike from close in, easily beating the home side’s goalkeeper. Beccles and Broadland both squandered opportunities in the second half but it was Broadland’s Nat Brooks who put the visitors ahead late on with an unstoppable penalty corner strike to take all the points. Amelia Anema stepping up from Broadland’s 3rd XI had an outstanding debut and looked a great prospect for the future.
