Leaders Broadland II continued where they left off before the mid-season break with a 3 – 1 victory over Dereham IV.  Nikki Kent scored twice with two smart finishes at the back post to lead at the break. Dereham were more convincing in the second half but a deflection by Broadland’s Kelly Allen ballooned over the keeper and rolled into an unguarded net to further the visitor’s advantage.  Emma Piddock in the Broadland goal made a number of vital saves but could do little to prevent Dereham’s Joanne Snook from finding a consolation goal near the end of the game.  Broadland’s Abi Dennison and their star player Tamsin Highfield were outstanding in midfield as was captain Sophie White with a masterful display at sweeper.
