A goal after 2 minutes and another a minute or so later by the home team set the scene for what turned out to be a miserable, damp and disastrous day for Broadland III.  A further goal for Pelicans’ just before the break didn’t bode well for Broadland in the second half but to their credit they pulled themselves together and took the game to the home team.  Amelia Anema ghosted in at the far post to momentarily brighten their prospects with a firm strike which was helped home by Wendy Anema but Pelicans’ found their way through a more resilient Broadland defence for a fourth goal minutes later.  Wendy Anema pulled another goal back for Broadland late on.
