Match Report |
Premier Division Broadland II 0 Harleston IV 2 Natalie Brookes’ outstanding performance in the Broadland goal was of little consolation as Broadland II’s suffered defeat by Harleston IV who outplayed them for most of the game. With Harleston IV, leading by two goals at the break, an open play goal from Cassie Ayms in the 16th minute and a penalty corner goal from Grace Collinson just on 24 minutes, the outlook was grim for the Broadland II’s in the second half. Broadland, knowing they would have to defend, set out with some grit and determination to prevent Harleston adding to their score and with every player behind the ball achieved their objective as they foiled every attempt thrown at them. Brookes magnificent performance with both hands, feet and stick denied Harleston any further goals.
