Match Report | Premier Division Evergreens 2 Broadland II 1 Evergreens took an early lead but Broadland, despite having only 10 players fought back to find a goal through Nikki Baker who was on hand to finish off a fine move instigated by Carre Varley. Broadland’s star player Lisa Gill, in the Broadland goal for the first time, made some remarkable saves to keep her side in the game but could do very little about the disputed Evergreens’ winning penalty corner goal which struck a defender’s body before dropping conveniently into the path of an attacker who lifted the ball high into the net. |
