Broadland II 3 Norwich Dragon IV 4 Norwich Dragons dominated the early period of the game and had a number of clear opportunities to take the lead, which they eventually did in the 24th minute through Lilli Ballard, who scored after a period of intense pressure on the Broadland goal. . Within 2 minutes Broadland were back in the game as a clearance from their defence caught Dragon’s rear-guard sleeping with Broadland’s Nikki Baker racing on to the ball to fire in an equalizer. Clearly shaken by this set back Norwich Dragons conceded again as a right-wing cross along the back line evaded two defenders’ sticks and fell invitingly into the path of Nikki Kent who calmly turned the ball in for Broadland’s second goal. Broadland started the second half pressurizing the visitor’s goal and increased their lead through Baker but then conceded themselves as Caroline Wolfe fired in a loose ball across the Broadland keeper. A revitalised Dragons pressed forward and were rewarded for their efforts when Wolfe found an equalizer and then the winner when she was on hand to the ball to divert a cross into the Broadland goal.
