Match Report | Premier Division Norwich City III 6 Broadland II 1 Norwich City III’s doggedly chasing the Premier league leaders Broadland, kept up the pressure with a comfortable win over Broadland IIs. Effie Bowley gave them an early lead with an extraordinary deflection which ballooned over the Broadland defence and goalkeeper Jen Crawford into the Broadland goal. Norwich gaining control of the midfield, scored again soon after with another finish from Bowley. A brace before half time from Holly Robinson put the home side in cruise control and should really have scored considerably more goals in the second half but some dogged and stubborn defending by Broadland II’s kept the score down to two further goals from Ellie Hobden and Kim Lusher. Broadland’s captain Nikki Kent put her side on the score sheet with a solo run and smart finish which left the City keeper completely flat-footed.
