Trailing by a goal from Pelicans captain Tracy Brown after 5 minutes Broadland might have pulled a goal back but for some wayward attempts on the visitor’s goal.  Broadland’s Tessa Hewitt and Dinky Topley worked hard in midfield to create some opportunities but could do little to prevent Katie Ward putting the visitors ahead 9 minutes into the second half. Broadland reduced through illness to 10 players 10 minutes from the end conceded again as Pelicans star player Amy Thompson ran through to crash home a demoralising third goal.
