Premier Division Norwich Dragons IV 1 Broadland II 1 Norwich Dragons IV pressurised Broadland II from the start but looked vulnerable at the back particularly when Broadland’s star player sweeper Issie London powered the ball into the path of Broadland’s lone attacker Nikki Baker. With no score at the break Norwich Dragons were caught flat-footed within 10 minutes of the restart as Nikki Kent picked out Baker who slammed the ball home at the far post. Dragons found Broadland’s London a stumbling block, a magnet and in good form and eventually found an equalizer through Caroline Wolfe whose dipping shot at a penalty corner bounced in front of the Broadland keeper giving her little chance to make a save. With only a few minutes left on the clock Broadland thought they had found the winner but Baker’s shot was deemed to be outside the circle and Nikki Kent’s touch just before it crossed the line was not recognised by the officials.
