Match Report | Division 2 Loddon II 4 Broadland III 1 Broadland’s inexperienced third eleven had a tough time against a more experienced and younger Loddon II’s. Beverley Buckley started the ball rolling for the home side when she latched onto a well-placed through ball to firmly strike the ball past Georgia Glenn, Broadland’s stand in goalkeeper. Buckley scored again at a penalty corner and might have scored a few more goals had it not been for some stout defending by Emma Spary, one of Broadland’s joint star players. Broadland conceded again after Charlotte Joyce wriggled free to find the back of the visitor’s goal. Buckley then completed her hattrick which surprisingly woke up Broadland who having moved Spary to the forward line and introduced Shelley James Broadland’s other star player, forced Loddon on the defensive until the end of the game.
