Broadland gave Pelicans a two-goal start by twice failing to control the ball and clearing their lines in the first half. A well struck penalty corner goal from Broadland’s star player Tamsin Highfield kept them in the game at half time, but even she, after a serious bout of cramp, could not prevent Pelicans running away with the game.

Bury pulled a goal back to set up a frantic last ten minutes but Exiles held fast to take the points.
