Broadland started well enough but failed to control the ball at moments when it mattered. Chloe Gatwood put the visitors ahead and Yissie Holmes doubled their advantage soon after. Broadland’s Sabrina Logan latched onto a defence splitting ball just before half time but her well struck effort was well wide of the mark. In the last minute of the half Chloe Gatwood doubled her score and added a third goal to Pelicans’ tally.  Broadland played a more determined game in the second half and pushed forward only to leave themselves open to the counter attack and duly paid the price when Pelicans Lucy Wicks outpaced the Broadland rear-guard for their fourth and final goal.
