Lowestoft based East Coast started the game at a furious pace and quickly established a two goal advantage Broadland rallied and looked likely to score at any moment with some good passages of play and lengthy periods of possession A breakaway by East Coast saw the home side awarded a penalty stroke before half time following a foot on the line. Jen Crawford in the Broadland goal dived to her left to turn the effort round the post. Broadland still in the game forced East Coast to concede a penalty stroke early in the second half. Broadland’s captain Holley Becker stepped up to fire the ball passed the East Coast ‘keeper to reduce the arrears.  Broadland forcing the pace and looking for an equalizer could not find the home team’s net and then unfortunately got hit with a further couple of goal late on in the game. Broadland’s joint star players were Jen Crawford and youngster Connie Harris who was magnificent in midfield.
