Match Report | Division 2 Breckland 3 Broadland III 1 Broadland hampered by a number of late call off’s travelled to Thetford for the opening game of the campaign. Breckland also beset by a number of players being unavailable managed to find 8 players for the occasion and in spite of being under strength comfortable won against a tentative and inexperienced Broadland side who could not match the home team’s robust style and determination. With numerous miss placed passes and under hit attempts on goal it took until the second half for Broadland to manufacture a goal when Georgia Glenn burst through the Breckland defence and drove the ball past the goalkeeper. Jenni Martin being in the thick of things in the Broadland defence was their star player.
