| Match Report | Saturday 11th January 2020 East Women’s Hockey League Division 2 (North East) Broadland 2 Yarmouth 3 Lydia Lawrence put Broadland ahead with a close-range finish only for Yarmouth to find an equaliser when Broadland lost their concentration following a facial injury to one of their players. Two penalty corners powered home by Yarmouth’s Alexia Williamson- Jones, however, gave them a decisive lead at the break. Lawrence scored again for Broadland but in spite of late pressure on the Yarmouth goal, Broadland could not find an equaliser their attacking play deserved. Yarmouth’s other scorer was Emma Stolworthy. |
