Match Report | Division 2 Norwich Dragons VII 1 Broadland III 4 Broadland took a little while to find themselves in a mid-table battle which saw end to end play from the first whistle. They conceded an early goal when Dragons swiftly broke forward to find the back of the visitor’s net. Broadland responded positively and picking up the pace equalized when a period of well-constructed passing play set-up Pippa Hill who opened the scoring for Broadland. With the game tied at half time, both teams came out from the break in a determined mood. Dragons had some early opportunities. but a steadfast Broadland defence held firm. A well placed and powerful strike at a penalty corner from Connie Harris however, broke the deadlock. Broadland’s midfield now dominating play with their star player Sally Logue providing numerous opportunities for Broadland, went further ahead through Hannah Killick with an excellent goal from open play. Inspired by this Broadland’s Pippa Hill completed the score line with the finest of touches to ease the ball past the outstretched hand of the Dragons keeper.
