Various infringements and disallowed goals did nothing to raise Broadland’s spirits as they lost a keenly contested clash in windy West Norfolk.  Broadland started well enough and took the game to the home team in the first half with multiple shots on goal giving the Pelicans goalkeeper a workout. A lucky strike at the Broadland goal early in the first half saw the home team take the lead. With a Broadland goal attempt disallowed, the ball deemed to be above the height of the backboard as it crossed the goal line, the home team hung onto their lead. The second half again saw lots of possession for Broadland but despite numerous attempts on goal they were unable to find the net. A one on one opportunity following a quick break from Pelicans saw them double their lead. Despite hard work from the Broadland midfield and defence, with Broadland's captain and star player Jenni Martin working tirelessly to see off several Pelican attacks, the game ended 3-0 to the home team.
