Match Report | Division 2 Broadland III 2 Norwich City VI 1 Broadland’s rearranged match against Norwich City VI was a tight affair being a no score stalemate at the break Broadland started the second half with more grit and determination with their star player Connie Harris making some excellent runs. Isabel, her twin sister and Hannah Killick dominating midfield forced a number of errors in front of goal allowing Yvonne Adams to pop the ball over the line for the opening goal. Broadland continued to dominate the play with a well worked pass finding Killick in space to confidently strike the ball home to double Broadland’s lead. In the last quarter of the game the City side put Broadland under pressure and were rewarded for their efforts with a goal from one of their younger players. City kept Broadland under pressure and were awarded a penalty corner in the last minute which was successfully defended and confidently cleared by Fiona White. |
