Broadland IIs playing defender Lisa Gill in goal got the better of bottom side Pelicans II at Lunn sport by three goals to nil.  Verity Becker burst through the Pelicans backline with a terrific burst of speed and struck a powerful shot which the home goalkeeper parried. The alert Verity Becker collected the rebound and set up her sister Holley, who had the presence of mind to deftly lob the ball over the prostrate keeper. Broadland’s second goal, although showing an element of good fortune was powered home by Nikki Baker favourable position by the far post after Nat Brooks initial shot had been deflected by Holley Becker into her path.  Broadland’s goal keeper played a blinder as Pelicans tried to work their way back into the game but Broadland would have none of it and sealed their well won victory when their captain Holley Becker was picked out with a peach of a pass by Amelia Anema which allowed Becker to ease the ball pass the bemused home team keeper.
