In a very competative game, over the border, Ipswich found the Broadland net at a penalty corner when Catherine Brewster diverted the ball into her own teams net. Oops. Broadland upped their game and kept Ipswich on the back foot with their efforts being rewarded when Kelly Allen clawed the ball out of the air and in one movement crashed the ball home for an equaliser. With all to play for in the second half, Broadland unluckly fell behind and then conceded again minutes later. To their credit they gave Ipswich a run for their money as Nikki Kent clawed a goal back a few minutes from the end but Ipswich managed to hold out for a narrow victory. |
