Unable to clear the ball led to Broadland conceding a sloppy first half goal. Undeterred Broadland maintained their determination to get back into the game by forcing a number of penalty corners. Finally Broadland found an equaliser their power play deserved when Kelly Holman scored her first goal for Broadland picking up a rebound from the keeper’s pad and slotting it home from close-in. Broadland’s star play Ann Harper did some overtime in their midfield as she challenged for every ball and made some excellent tackles to keep her side in the game.
