Harleston set the tone of the game playing some fast and furious hockey which Broadland failed to match. Leading by 4 goals at the break, a hattrick by ? ?????? Tibbenam, two strikes from open play and a penalty corner goal with a further  penalty corner conversion through ??????? Williamson?  The scene was set for a second half goal fest but this was not to be as Broadland began the second half with some grit and determination and now showing their true potential posed a threat to the visitors’ defence on every attack.  In a flurry of penalty corners near the end of this tough encounter Broadland’s efforts were rewarded when Natasha Blyth’s well-stuck penalty corner strike was deflected past the Harleston keeper outstretched hand.  In the dying seconds of the game  a further effort from Blyth just drifted passed the far post and out.
