Alice Saunders in goal for Broadland III, stoically played on after a warm-up injury which left her in pain, could do little to prevent Dragons finding an equalizer soon after Jen Harris had given Broadland an early lead. Dragons nudged ahead just after the break but could not hold on to their advantage as Connie Harris picked out Shelley James who found the net of the home team’s goal. Following an injury to Alishia Alexander, one of Broadland’s brightest players, with a wrist injury after a bad fall, Broadland lost their shape which allowed Dragons to take capitalize on the situation and score two further goals.
