Match Report | Saturday 31st October 2020 Broadland II 2 UEA II 5 Broadland started the game with some promise and took an early lead when a free hit outside the circle was misjudged by a UEA defender. Holly Becker collected the ball and went round a UEA defender to fire the home side into the lead. Broadland were more organised and stronger in the second half despite only having 10 players after an injury to one of their defenders Some good attacking hockey enabled Becker to skilfully cross the ball to find Pippa Hill well placed at the far post who forced a UEA defender to power the ball into her own goal.. After this the play was end to end with both teams having opportunity to score. Alice Saunders in the Broadland goal had a fantastic game, only her second for the club but it was UEA who found another goal late on. Report from Georgia Glenn |
