| Match Report | Saturday 18th September 2021 Diss 7 Broadland 0 Broadland 2s were away for their 1st match of the season against the well drilled and experienced Suffolk team. After a tense week of trying to establish a team almost from scratch Broadland battled tirelessly and looked good in parts but having to defend almost from the start left stand-in goal keeper Lisa Gill with far too much work to do. Broadland welcomed back Becky Reynolds and managed to convince Anne Harper, Alishia Alexander, Milly Derrick, Billie-Jo Curtis and Kelly Holman from their third XI to step up to fill in the gaps created by absentees. Lisa Gill, in spite of the score made some fantastic saves but Diss where stronger and scored regularly during the game. The final score of 7 goals to Diss and a blank sheet for Broadland reflected this. Broadlands star player was Billie-Jo Curtis who played with pace and put in some very good crosses from both the left and right wings. Report by Emma Goldsmith
