Match Report | Saturday 25th September 2021 East Women’s Hockey League Division 5 North-East (North) Broadland III 0 Harleston Magpies VII 0 Having had to conceded last weeks game through lack of players Broadland III bounced back to full strength side with a very inexperienced team with half a dozen players making debuts in some cases, playing their first ever game of hockey. Harleston started strongly but as the game progressed Broadland looked increasingly menacing especially down their right but could not get a decent cross into the Harleston circle to create opportunities to their hard running forwards. The well-established Harleston team found plenty of opportunities to break the deadlock however, and had it not been for Broadland’s star player Dani Parke in goal making some last ditch saves, might have snatched all the points close to the final whistle.
