East Women’s Hockey League Division 3 North East North Yarmouth 7 Broadland 2 0 Yarmouth were too strong for a Broadland side weakened this season by a number of factors which has resulted in a never-ending rotation of personnel. Yarmouth started strongly but took a good ten minutes to find the back of the Broadland net with Dani Parke in the visitor’s goalkeeper making a number of excellent saves to keep her side in the contest. A second goal from a penalty corner at the very ending of the first half was very disappointing but spirits remained high. The second period, as Broadland tried their hardest to get back in the game, became a bit of a mish mash as Broadland’s frailties were exposed with Yarmouth firing in 5 goals to emphasis their control on the game. In spite of this disappointing result the Broadland team kept going and at times showed some great teamwork and commitment.
