Match Report | Saturday 20th November 2021 East Men’s Hockey League Division 4 North East Broadland Exiles 7 Sudbury III 0 A penalty corner in their first concerted attack, a cut to a Sudbury players eyebrow and a goal, all within the first 90 seconds of the start of the game set the scene for another stunning Exiles victory. Dan Cheeseman , Exiles leading marksman, from the narrowest of angles put them ahead with the coolest of finishes between the Sudbury keeper and the near post. Sudbury were never really in it and had to be on the defensive as the home side dominated play throughout the game. James Edwards the Broadland Exiles keeper was hardly called into action, and it wasn’t until late on that he was called in to make a save of any description. Exiles scorers were Simon Nisbit, Fergus Clarke 2, Mark Timm, Robbie Dix and Sam Brewster. |
