Division 5 North Broadland III 3 Loddon II 0 Considering Loddon II were second in the league at the commencement of the game, they put up little opposition as Broadland III ran them ragged. Although they threatened the Broadland goal at times, the home defence easily dealt with them. Ruth Aldous was on top of her game and easily kept the left-hand side of the Loddon attack under control. Playing out of her usual position of right defender Jenny Martin scored a great poacher’s goal as did Shelley James. Ann Cocoram was also on target for Broadland with a perfect penalty corner.
