Match Report | East Men’s Hockey League Division 3 North East Broadland Exiles 4 UEA III 0 With both teams winless and pointless at the start of the game it was imperative that Exiles got off to a good start and that they did as they went ahead through Will Waterman in the 11th minute when he was on hand to place the ball firmly into the net from close in. Exiles pushing forward and creating panic in the students’ defence, doubled their lead a few minutes later when Josh Hinds found the visitors net, again from close in. Exiles dominating play, cruised into a strong position late on in the 1st half when Sam Brewster converted a penalty corner in some style. His drag flick conversion being unstoppable. Down but not yet out UEA 3s began to force some errors but with the home side in good form anther goal from them looked likely at any time. A penalty corner midway through the second half saw Sam Brewster score for Exiles again with a classic penalty routine into the far corner. |
