Match Report | Saturday 29th October 2022 East Women’s Hockey League Division 3 North East North Broadland II 9 Dereham 9 Broadland started the game seeming positively optimistic against what was going to prove to be challenging opposition, Dereham. Relatively even in the opening quarter of the game, clinical Dereham then made some solid attempts and secured their first goal. Broadland did not let their heads come down, and made some progress up the pitch in midfield, in particular through Trigger and Bea. Sadly, Dereham remained persistent throughout and, despite a man-of-the-match-worthy performance by goalkeeper Dani Parke, Broadland suffered a 0-9 defeat. Onwards and upwards to next week vs. UEA. |
