Beccles robust style of play and their direct approach with the ball hit hard into the circle, propelled them into an early two-goal advantage.  Broadland pulled a goal back through Yvonne Adams just before the break to keep her side in the game.  The second half might have drifted away from Broadland 3’s but to their credit they battled and beavered away. Their efforts being rewarded when a ?????????????? strike from the narrowest of angles, was deflected into the home teams net by a defender’s foot.  Beccles, hanging on as Broadland buzzed round their goal snatched a victory and all the points with 6 minutes to go when a clearance out of defence split the Broadland rear-guard and left the visitor’s keeper in a two on one situation with the inevitable result.
