Division 5 (North East) North Broadland III 2 UEA V 1 The youthful and sylph like UEA V looked a strong bet to take the points but Broadland’s defence stood strong and provided good service for their front runners. Broadland took the lead just before the break when Emily Robertshaw slotted the ball past the on rushing UEA keeper. UEA began to dominate the midfield but could not get past the Broadland reaguard led by Corks, their captain. UEA however, managed to pull a goal back in the 63rd minute through a deflected penalty corner strike.. Within a couple of minutes Broadland restored their advantage through Laura Seville who ran through and placed the ball firmly past the UEA keeper. My apologies for mistakes with the names.
