| Match Report | Saturday 25th February 2023 East Women’s Hockey League Division 3 North East Norwich City V 0 Broadland 18 18 goals in a game with a duration of 70 minutes suggests to me that a goal was scored by Broadland roughly every 4 minutes. Even though I wasn’t there to witness the game I can say without fear of contradiction that the game was fairly one sided. Rumour tells me that Jess Bennett scored somewhere in the region of 10 goals before half time and bagged a total of fourteen goals overall. If someone said City 5 had no attempts on target during the 70minutes I wouldn’t argue. If Broadland’s captain and goalkeeper declined to pay her match fee I wouldn’t argue with that either. Having said that you can only play against what’s in front of you, so I congratulate our Ladies 1 on a thoroughly deserved victory.
